Zhang Heling, whose literary name is Master of KuSuoZhai, is one of the most famous Chinese Calligrapher in Northern China.
Mr. Zhang Heling was born in Henan province, 1930s and his ancestral hometown is Pingjiang county, Hunan province. He currently serves as the vice-president of GUOFENG Painting And Calligraphy Institute in Xingtai City, Hebei province, P.R.China.

Mr. Zhang Heling began to practice calligraphy and painting when he was a young boy and has never stopped practicing during the last decades, and gradually formed his unique artistic style, his Chinese calligraphy works are characterized as rigorous, elegant, vigorous and unrestrained, especially his BOSHU calligraphy arts.

Mr. Zhang Heling has won many rewards from multiple international and nation-wide calligraphy and painting exhibitions for more than 20 times, the reward includes gold medals, silver medals, copper medals and first, second, third prizes. More than 20 books and dictionaries collected his biography and calligraphy works, such as: Thousand-Meter-Long Scroll of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy And Painting, Dictionary of Chinese Literature Artists, World Who's Who, etc.

Mr. Zhang Heling's calligraphy works were also collected by museums, exhibition centers and memorial resorts in many cities, and were inscribed on tablets, doorframes and memorial boards in HANYUAN Forest of Steles, CHUN-CHANG-ZAI Paradise, GUO SHOU-JING Memorial Museum and PUTUO Mountain and other historic or scenic resorts. He composed and wrote the small regular script copybook: Three Character Primer for Calligraphy, which was published both in China and Taiwan in 1995. With the appraisal of experts organizations from China, USA, Japan, Singapore, Canada, Korea and Philippine, he was honored as World Calligraphy And Painting Artist and Contemporary Calligraphy And Painting Artist in 1994.

Authored and created copybook of "Calligraphy Three Character Classic", published in 1995 both in mainland China and Taiwan. In 2003 and 2009, Mr. Zhang Heling also published calligraphy album "KU-SUO-ZHAI Ink Rhyme" and "Zhang Heling Art of Calligraphy". Also created and directed various theater drama, published "GuoShouJing story", "ZHOU and Peach Girl", and "Xingtai Folk Literature Three Sets of Integrated, Hebei Volumes" and authored scripts for "JING TING-BIN", "Carrying Sedan","Sickle-Star" and won national awards twice and a dozen provincial awards.
